Prime Minister Invites FPDynamics to the Canada Investment Summit
The company's project is one of 167 in the summit's investor prospectus, the national dealbook being put in front of up to 250 of the world's largest investors in Toronto this week.
TORONTO, ON, September 13, 2026. FPDynamics announced today that it has been invited by Prime Minister Mark Carney to the Canada Investment Summit, and that its project has been included in the summit's investor prospectus as one of 167 Canadian projects presented to global capital. The invitation arrived on August 26, the same day the company confirmed its qualification as a supplier under Canada's Defence Drone Initiative.
A First of Its Kind
The Canada Investment Summit runs September 14 and 15 in Toronto, hosted by the Prime Minister in partnership with CPP Investments and PSP Investments, and billed by the Government of Canada as a first-of-its-kind gathering in this country. Up to 250 of the world's largest investors from as many as 28 countries are expected, together responsible for close to $120 trillion in capital, alongside Canadian chief executives, federal ministers, and all 13 premiers. The stated ambition is to catalyze $1 trillion of investment in Canada over the next five years, roughly half of it foreign.
One Project in 167
The prospectus is the summit's working document: a curated list of Canadian projects open to outside capital, sorted into eight categories. Mining and metals is the largest at 63 entries, followed by clean energy at 31, advanced manufacturing at 19, marine and port infrastructure at 16, power and utilities and conventional energy at 11 each, digital technology at 10, and transportation at 6. FPDynamics is one of the 167.
The list leans heavily toward resources and energy, and geographically toward Western and Atlantic Canada. The FPDynamics entry sits in that document alongside pipelines, ports, nuclear expansions, and high-speed rail.
Every entry in that prospectus is a bet on something Canada should be able to build for itself. Ours is one of them. Capital is what turns Canadian engineering into Canadian production.

The Track Record Behind the Invitation
FPDynamics arrives at the summit off a year of validation. Its FP-X tactical UAS won Round 1 of the Department of National Defence's Drone Surge contest in December, took a $339,480 grant in Round 2 to build the prototype, and in August the company qualified as a supplier under Stream 1 and additional streams of Canada's Defence Drone Initiative.
What every one of the 167 entries has in common is that engineering alone does not finish the job. Tooling, test capacity, a domestic supply chain, and the people to run all three take capital. That is the case FPDynamics brings to the investors gathering in Toronto.
Reception at the Royal Ontario Museum
FPDynamics will attend the Summit Reception on the evening of Sunday, September 13 at the Royal Ontario Museum, the event that opens the two days that follow. The guest list brings together the visiting investors with senior figures from government and industry inside and outside Canada, and it is the summit's least formal and most useful room: the one where a Canadian project meets the people who fund Canadian projects. Conversations continue through the program on September 14 and 15.
